Sorry if you've had this question before.
As an avid camper in Northern British Columbia every summer I'd like to find a decent spotting scope that would be suitable for star gazing. I know a telescope would be better for this but with the light pollution and cloud cover here in Vancouver it would be useless most of the time. As the spotting scope is smaller and more compact it would also be easier to pack into the mountains.
