Hello..
Here's two questions i have wanted answers to for awhile.. 1) Does anyone have any ideas of possible landing craft or methods that might be used to land humans on mars?? I keep trying to think of a possible solution and the only thing i can really come up with is a helicopter like vehicle (at least for the lander). It seems like bouncing humans like we do current rovers on mars might be a bit jarring and possibly dangerous after being in microgravity for a few months (bone + muscle loss and whatnot).. Any ideas? 2) Anyone know if one of the landers have measured how fast the winds blow on mars during dust/sand storms? I've seen pics where the entire planet is in a 'global dust storm'. If the winds are mild thats one thing, but if there are 100+mph winds moving boulders or good size rocks that could pose a serious threat on mars to any habitat we build.
