Default Sky Globe astro software custom objects file

According to the instructions, it's supposed to be possible
to obtain extra celestial objects plotted on the screen by
simply adding a text file filled with coordinates named
skyglobe.ext, but so far I haven't been able to get either
the DOS or Windows program to respond.

Any guidance? A web search yielded nothing beyond the original
instructions which detail the above procedure, and the software
company which authored Sky Globe has dissolved.

The file has four fields, RA, decl, symbol, and title. The coords
are in DEGREES and decimal. The symbol is a code as noted in the
instructions. I'm writing this from memroy, but I do know that the
instructions, in the rinted booklet, are pretty straightforward. I use
this file once in a while for marking comets.
