The arrival of the shock from the last solar flare was 12 hours behind our
estimate, so the high auroral activity is occurring over Russia right now (8pm GMT) It will probably continue for another 12 hours so we expect high auroral activity tonight, Jan 21. The southern edge of the aurora should be visible from England, Northern Europe, and middle USA. Dr. Charles Deehr, Prof. Emer. Phys.
