A similar image to yesterday's shot (well what did you expect ;-) )
but closer to the Pleiades. Hey - I don't know how much longer the weather's going to allow me to keep tabs on it ;-) http://www.digitalsky.org.uk/comets/...5_18h44m-2.jpg As a matter of interest, the ion tail is quite large - over 10 degrees in size by my reckoning. It's not possible to bring a pretty image of the full tail up using my images from last night - they fall too close to the noise threshold of the base image.
