Just got a new celestron nexStar 80gtl with the progrom The Sky version 5
level 1 and cannot even open the program because it is in 16 bits, Can you
help me.

Do you mean it's a 16bit app and won't run under new operating systems such
as 2k or XP.

If thats the case you should be able to run it using compataiblity mode
under XP install, right click on the icon and choose compatability from the
list under 2k compatability mode isn't there by default but can be added
with a simple registry tweak check here for the tweak.

The Sky certainly runs under Windows 2000. You didn't say what sort of
machine you have, which operating system and what the error is that
you get.
