Default Dew on eyepiece

Can I call on someone out there for some advice?

I was observing the other night when it was cold a very damp, I noticed when
got all the kit back inside that a heavy layer of dew had formed on my
eyepieces. I left the eyepieces exposed overnight in the house but some of
them still have many small globules of water or residue on the lenses.

I have a lens pen from Telescope House that I'm thinking of using to clean
them, is this likely to cause more damage?

Any advice gratefully received,

Chris.
