Default Guardian picture of 'meteor' shower

I wonder who got paid for this photo of 'meteor '
shower appearing in today's paper p17.
I don't know how to call up Guardian pics.

AFAIK pic of long-exposure star trails
all same length , all in same direction ,
not a meteor anywhere.

Several papers did the same thing for the big Leonid shower of a few
years ago.

" A meteor shower lights up the sky over the
Mexican volcano Popocatepetl near San
Nicolas de los Ranchos in the early hours
of yesterday. " 1/3 page picture

A similar picture on this cached version for a few hours or so.

Seems to have been deleted from that paper's archive.

Which bit is the meteorite? Is it that black thing at the bottom?
They got an aurora in there as well!

No mention in today's corrections section - so much for a
newspaper of record.

You can't expect a correction the next day: when they correct a
mistake, they will want to take the time to make sure that the
correction is correct. I'm sure they'll publish one in a few days.

I was wondering if anyone familiar with equatorial
view of the heavens could mentally or actually
reduce the trace lines to endpoints and identify
the stars/ 'meteors' in the image. It would give
added bite to the correction.
BTW I've not bothered informing the Grauniad.
