Hi all,
After a lot of deliberation I have decided to go with a Skywatcher Explorer 130M. I was wondering if anybody had one and if they have bought any accessories that they would suggest I buy, or let me know their experiences with this telescope, good or bad. Cheers Neil |

Explorer 130M. I was wondering if anybody had one Yes me and if they have bought any accessories that they would suggest Dump the 10mm eyepiece its pants the 25mm is ok, get your self some decent eyepices. I buy, or let me know their experiences with this telescope, good or bad. You'll soon find that the EQ2 mount and tripod is to weak for the OTA. I bought a CG5 mount from David Hinds ther're on offer at £129 at the moment. Well worth it. The smaller the eyepiece focal length, the more it magnifies - not only the image, but the imperfections in both the eyepiece and the scope. My own 2nd purchase was a good 16mm eyepiece, and this is WAY more useful than the 10mm supplied with the scope. Well, I'm looking forward to getting it, should be here next Tuesday.
