Default Black ID band

For further reference (for newbies), here are a couple of images taken by
camera E204 just before the disintegration:
http://history.nasa.gov/rogersrep/v3n53.htm. Notice how the black ID band
looks on the forward skirt of the left SRB.

Now, look at the SRBs just after they have emerged from the propellant vapor
cloud a little over one second later:
http://history.nasa.gov/rogersrep/v3n57.htm. These images are taken from the
same camera.

Somebody actually got the SRB identification correct on the CAD
drawing (lower left corner), consistent with the ID by drogue chute
serial numbers. I noticed that years ago. Sometimes I think I've
forgotten more about 51-L than most people will learn in a lifetime.
