Default STS 51-L Flight Operations Team Summary Report

How many of you anonymous USENET armchair investigators
have read this document? How many of you USA employees
or former FDOs (or *anyone else* who posts here other than
my son Daniel) have read it?

I'm talking about the NASA JSC report dated February 18, 1986,
approved by Brock Stone, Tommy Holloway, Don Puddy, and
Gene Kranz? We may as well set the stage for some useful SRB
and RCS discussion in those two (wholly appropriate) threads.

This MAY be more like it. Tell us what the report says (for those of us
who don't have one sitting on the bookshelf). Lay it out, explain it,
and make your points.

Or at least provide a URL so we can read it ourselves...

Or at least tell us what we should be looking for. Is it available for
download anywhere, by any chance? Sometimes these things are buried
someplace in .PDF format...

I want to give all my libeling and defaming critics at least a
week to state whether they are familiar with this document,
before I go into any information contained therein which is
relevant to SRB thrust imbalance or ascent RCS firings.

Sounds totally fair under the circumstances.

Except that we have the old crank killfiled and never see his posts.
And remember, Daniel (and this goes for your emotionally-unbalenced
father) - truth is an absolute defense against libel.

Yep, and truth prevails over ignorance. Before you guys have any more

smart
ass remarks, get ready for some truth from real NASA documents as opposed

to
thoughts off the tops of your heads.

Daniel, I think I speak for many here that we'd LOVE real NASA documents,
rather than hints and innuendos.

You tend to go back and forth from hints and innuendos and actually
providing documentation. Stick with the latter. It'll continue to help
your reputation.
