NASA OFFICIALS BRIEF MEDIA ABOUT HUMAN SPACE FLIGHT

Three senior NASA officials will brief the media at the
Kennedy Space Center (KSC) at approximately 11:00 a.m. EDT,
Tuesday, Aug. 5. NASA Deputy Administrator Fred Gregory,
Associate Administrator for Space Flight Bill Readdy and
Associate Administrator for Safety and Mission Assurance
Bryan O'Connor will talk to reporters for approximately one
hour about the agency's human space flight program.

The briefing is at the KSC Press Site. It will be broadcast
live on NASA Television. Media desiring to attend the brief
should contact Bruce Buckingham, KSC Public Affairs, at
321/867-2468. Questions will only be taken from media in
attendance.

NASA Television is available on AMC-9, Transponder 9C at 85
degrees west longitude, vertical polarization, with a
frequency of 3880.0 MHz, and audio of 6.80 MHz.
