What OS's does it run under? What are the memory requirements? Does it run on a Mac? Larry Stedman Vestal |

![]() What OS's does it run under? What are the memory requirements? Hi Larry: Steve will no doubt get back to you on this...but...I'm a long time user of his fine software... --Windows 98 and up. --The memory requirements are quite modest...I've run the earlier editions in 64mb. DAS runs quite well on my 256mb machine. --You can run it on an Apple, but only with an emulator (couple of folks I know are doing this). If you have any other questions about it, feel free to email me. I've been using this for the last 5 years or so and have been quite happy with it, especially used in concert with Cartes du Ciel. For a minimum investment, you get a system that has the charting power of Cartes with the databases of Deepsky (CdC will use the compact version of the Guide Star Catalog included with Deepsky, by the way). I particularly like the DVD edition, which has thousands of nice images on the accompanying DVD. Peace, Rod Mollise Author of _Choosing and Using a Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope_ Like SCTs and MCTs?
