Default Why concavo convex?

Hi,
I have noticed that in simple Keplerian refracting telescopes, usually
a concavo convex lens is used as the objective. I would like to know
what the advantages are of a concavo convex lens over a bi convex lens
when used as a telescopic objective.

Thank you.
