Default Synta G6 and it's Goto

Has anyone used this combo yet? Does it match Meade or Celestron when it
comes to accuracy and tracking?

Hi:

Could you give us a tad more in the way of description. As in a url where we
can look at whatever it is? ;-)

Rod,

It's only just available now. From what I've heard, it started shipping
to distributors last week. There's a picture of it on the back cover of
the July/August SkyNews magazine ( http://www.skynewsmagazine.com ).
I've been searching information, but I have only found the aftermarket
GoTo kits for the EQ-6. Even the Skywatcher website doesn't have it yet
( www.skywatchertelescope.com ).

Eric.

Hi Eric:

I don't see anything on the Skynews website...anyhoo...is it like a goto
equipped EQ6?

I couldn't find it on the website either. Just on the paper copy. It's
an EQ-6 with a Nexstar-like controller. The controller in the ad says
SkyScan on it.

The add says:

Positioning Accuracy: 5 arcmin
Microstep driven
Slewing speed up to 800x
Interface for Autoguider
Database includes M, NGC, IC

Eric.
