Default OT - sunspots and sleep disorders

I've been having a few bouts of what I now discover is something called
sleep paralysis, which has apparently been linked to geomagnetism (don't
ask me how, I haven't read that far yet). All this talk of sunspots
prompted me to mention it here. Anyone else get it, and noticed any
increase recently?
Apparently its harmless, though frightening - the brain becomes active
before the body during sleep. There are various symptoms. In my case I
feel I am choking, but can't move a muscle, then suddenly I can and all
is normal. I remember as a child being terrified and trying to call out
for my mother, but not being able to.
A link to sun spot activity would be interesting, but I suspect it has
more to do with fatigue and stress etc.

BTW - they've had some superb purple and green Auroras in North America,
shown on the Spaceweather.com gallery - plus a beautiful sunrise with
the sunspot clearly visible.
