I've installed it on CS, and it works fine on my Starlight Xpress SXV-H9 images captured via AstroArt 2. Nice preview feature of the various stretches you can apply at image load time and some nice actions for creating an RGB image from a set of gray scales. Still early days though. Mark |

Part of the problem is that there are so many FITS viewers and editors that it is hard to separate the wheat from the chaff. Here's a no-nonsense viewer I have used: http://www.nrao.edu/software/fitsview/ If you want to get down and dirty with not just viewing but analyzing FITS: http://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/so..._download.html The FITS Liberator does look very easy to use in comparison to the above. I am tempted to download the trial version of Photoshop Elements (111 MB on dial-up) just to check it out. |

There are a number of free fits viewers for windows around. I'd suggest you download fv which is part of the IRAF package. You can find it he http://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/software/ftools/fv/ Andrea T. |
