Default Irish weather forecast for June 6 2012

It will be perfectly clear until 5 minutes before sunrise, when clouds
will roll in. These will be tantalisingly thin at times, but not so
thin that anyone might actually see any thing.

Ah well at least late Summer and Autumn should provide us with some
clear mornings for viewing.

Given you need to be on the other side of the world to see the next
Venus transit I doubt the weather in 2012 will be of much concern.
Unless of course the kind of limb darkening you wish to see is the
skimpily dressed lovelies sunbathing in the park

I would consider going to Bikini, but I've heard the entry
requirements can be a bit stiff

The transit here willl be a close thing, but according to

http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclips.../Map2012-2.GIF

we should catch the last few minutes with a clear NE horizon.
