Hi all,
We are going to transmit a live webcast of the Transit of Venus from the Leicester University Heliostat at: http://www.star.le.ac.uk/venus We were hoping to trasmit it in H-alpha, but I think that is now unlikly due to the cloud appearing ever since the H-alpha image was just a fraction away from being focused, so we have been unable to verify the h-alpha setup. But we know the optical projection works, so I think we will be using that fail-safe method (unless monday is miraculously clear and we get the h-alpha setup working). Cheers, Das |
