Cleared late evening but still very misty conditions. Took this
widefield photo of NEAT C/2001 Q4 in Cancer. Managed a few scope images but the comet's altitude is forcing me to odd corners of my garden and polar alignment was not brilliant. http://www.pbl33.fast24.co.uk/C2001Q4_120504.jpg -- Pete Lawrence http://www.pbl33.co.uk Astronomy and digital imaging website (last update 28-03-04) |

It wasn't a satellite - just one of the many inbound planes heading north, probably towards Gatwick. I find it quite difficult to get a widefield shot without one at that time of night. Noisy bleeders they are too! -- Pete Lawrence http://www.pbl33.co.uk Astronomy & digital astroimaging |
