Meade DS-2114 ATS and ETX70-AT reviews?

Hello,

(My first post on uk.sci.astronomy, though I've been lurking for quite a
while now...)

Does anyone here own either a Meade DS-2114 ATS or an ETX70-AT? Or
has/had both?

If so, I'd appreciate it if you would share your views here on what they
are like to own/operate/observe through. Thinking of buying one or the
other, though I'm open to suggestions for better 'scopes for a similar
outlay (around 250-300 UKP).
