Default Quasars

Hello,

My name is Carlos and I'm doing some research for my Astronomy class. I want
to do a research project about Quasars, and I'd love to work with some of
the calculations involved. I am wondering if any of you knows where I can
find some of the calculations I can do about their red shifts, acceleration
away from us, mass... some math/physics related stuff.

Thanks,

Carlos.
