My yard faces the Southwest sky in Northern NJ -USA. As I peered out my
window last night (actually this morning at 4:00am), I saw a most brilliant array of stars unlike any I've ever seen here. I could probably count hundreds, many with a very bright intensity, some maybe planets. I looked out other several other windows that point to the SE & NE and saw very little. Is there something special about the southwestern sky and star-gazing at this, or any time of year? |
