Default Cheaper alternative to a solar H-alpha filter?

This might be a stupid question but here goes anyway.....

Is it possible to use a solar filter (such as Baader film) in conjuction
with a H-alpha nebula filter to emulate (to any extent) what you'd see with
an expensive full apertuare solar H-alpha filter?

I've read a report from a guy who tried it with a combination of Orion Solar
Filter and LPR filter and was able to see more than he could with Solar
Filter alone.

Thanks!
