Sunday night approx 21.10 in approx south west sky I viewed just about the
brightest "shooting star" I've ever seen, even compared to dark skies in Australia & Indonesia. All I've really seen before is small bright white lights crossing the sky but this was large and initialy glowed orange around the edges and over a period of a couple of seconds dimmed to a small point of white light. Considering I viewed this with the naked eye in twighlight in the light polluted skies of Milton Keynes I'm guessing it could of been quite big. Did anyone see this or can you give me an explanation. Thanks A |

I saw something amazing a few days ago over Manchester - a huge white
and purple streak across a small part of the sky which lasted about half a second. Goodness knows what it was, but I was doing doubletakes afterwards! Paul. |
