Default Goodbye group!

Because of the numerous complaints, this will be my last post in this group.
Just keep in mind that if it isn't me, it will always be somebody posting
that you do not agree with. It amazes me how, even if I try to be as gentle
as possible with my questions and responses, there are those who want to use
the "a", "b", "mf", and a host of other words when you're in disagreement.
I even witheld many of my personal feelings with these last posts, and many
of those who replied still wanted to label me a "troll", "loser" or whatever
else you wanted to label me as. Well, so be it. If "positive" astronomy
discussion is all you want to have, without even a hint of an opposing view,
then I'm abandoning ship. There are a few who have been pleasant throughout
all of this and I appreciate that, but on the whole it's not worth any
further argument from me.

It really helps if you just pick and choose the conversations to take =
part in. I probably don't read 9 out of 10 conversations. For the most =
part, it's easy to tell from the subject if a thread is something that =
interests you or not.

The particular thread in question was quite easy to identify, it grew rapidly
and had header that was not exactly on topic.

I identified it as a probable "No Read Thread" and when I checked S.A.A. after
a couple of days in the MTBs I saw that it was 85 posts or some such.
Bingo..

Disagreements are ok. However, I ask that you do process factual information
(that you asked for and that is given to you), think things through, and put
things into perspective.

In more than one thread, you moaned about the seemingly (to you) exorbitant
cost of the Space Telescope and the Cassini-Huygens probe. However, the
costs for each of these remarkable instruments are really insignificant, yet
you never acknowledged this fact.
