I live in upstate NY and had perfect weather conditions tonight. I
could see all 4 major stars in Sirius that outline the body of the dog. As the foot set, I began to lose hope. As the top of the leg set, I knew that I would not be able to see the comet tonight. Given the stars I could see, I was surprised I could not see the comet. Any other more positive reports? -- Tom Rankin - Programmer by day, amateur astronomer by night!
