Transferring Boinc "Projects"

Hello fellow crunchers. I have recently begun using BOINC and I use
three different computers. One of my computers is already out of
"Projects" and another one has about 5 days worth. These computers are
hooked up through an ethernet. I need to know how to transfer my
abundance of workunits over to my starving machine the easiest way. I
tried to copy the files onto a disc and then load them into the
Projects file of Boinc, but could not get BOINC to recognize them.Have
I done something wrong.
