Default Stopping further WU downloads for GUI based SETI@Home on Win 2K

I have not been able to find the answer to this question on the
SETI@Home FAQ so I thought I'd ask it hear. I need to configure my
SETI@Home client to NOT download any further Work Units after it has
completed one.

I am using SETI@Home 3.08 on a Windows 2000 system. I am not using
the CLI client, but instead the GUI based client. I ran a test with
the "stop_after"send.txt" meathod used for UNIX/Linux systems, but
that didn't seem to work. I can set my Preferences to "Ask me before
connecting to the internet" but I think that once I connect, it will
start to download another set ( I could interrupt it though)

Does anyone have any suggestions to how I can cleanly stop SETI@Home
from downloading any more Work Units to my system. I am not using any
of the queueing add-ons.

Thank you.

Does it matter? Just answer him or keep out of it if you don't know the
answer.

The file name has to be in the dir where SETI@home runs from and called
"stop_after_send.txt" (always worked for me in Win98).

By default Windows usually hides known file extensions (which is why so
many people are fooled by worm files with double extension). So make sure
you did not really create a file called "stop_after_send.txt.txt". I am
not really familiar with how Windows handles permissions (except that it
can be a bitch in XP), but maybe it is a file permission problem (if not
misnamed).

Thanks David:

Once I took care of the double .txt, it worked like a charm. Don't
know how I missed it the first time. Cheers!
