Default Java Applets

Hi. Could someone check the following applets:

http://www.stargazing.net/mas/java2.htm (Martin Minow's SunClock Java
Applet)

http://www.stargazing.net/mas/java3.htm (Stig Ottosen's SkyCalender)

These applets don't appear to be working (I recently upgraded to the latest
Java software so it might be the upgrade). If these applets are broke,
however, would anyone know why? Or how to fix them? Or how to find other
equalvalent applets?

Any feedback would be appreciated...Dennis

I've just tried them, and they seem to work perfectly (Windows XP).
So the problem is within your computer, sorry

FWIW, I get the same results (one works, one doesn't) under Mac OS
10.3.3

The second app produces this error message:
java.lang.VerifyError: (class:sunset, method:run, signatureIV) illegal
use of nonvirtual function call

With win98 I got no graphic with the first link, and with the second
link I got exactly the same error message as above.
However, both worked perfectly at the second attempt.
I blame Bill (gimme your money now **** off) Gates.
Sorry I don't know enough about Java to suggest anything constructive.
