Default Orion SVP GEM: Motor Power Question

Hi all,

I have an Orion SkyView Pro mount with dual axis drives. It runs off 4
d-cells. I want to connect an AC-DC adapter so that I can run it from
a portable power supply. The controller came with limited
specifications and no markings on the controller to help me. Here are
my questions:

What is the polarity of the power connection? How many Ma current
should the adapter be capable of? On the off-chance It's not much, I
picked up a Radio Shack 800ma 6v power adapter. I also picked up an
adapter plug that I can set for positive or negative polarity.

Thanks!
