Solid and varifiable If you guys concentrated on the possible, like shifting planets in their orbit (:-) or how to prove the speed of gravity, you know, it'd be good. Deflectors are not required for any object that is massless in relation to all other matter... Would not have to worrying about running into planets, stars, asteroids ect either.... |

Perhaps some people should look at some hard science being carried out
first. Quantum entanglement (QE) describes the situation when the fates of two or more particles become bound together. A change in one entangled particle results in an instant change in the other particle, no matter how far away it is - even if it is at the opposite end of the Universe. It really bothered Einstein, especially since the concept that a change in one particle was somehow communicated to the other faster than the speed of light - nature's ultimate speed limit. He called it "spooky action at a distance". He believed there was something profound in the phenomenon and that buried in its seeming absurdity lay something that could overthrow quantum mechanics - a successful theory of the way the Universe behaves on the atomic and sub-atomic level. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3043731.stm There have been experiments to show that above light speed is possible at the subatomic level. It would only become a matter of time before speed limits based on theory are overturned. And remember it's the THEORY or Relativity Steve L. You can get one at Radio Shack for $49.95. As Snoopy Dog Dog said, "is you for real, man?" If you guys concentrated on the possible, like shifting planets in their orbit (:-) or how to prove the speed of gravity, you know, it'd be good. D |
