Default Digital Setting Circles driven by Linux?

Does anybody know of a program for linux, free or otherwise that can act as
DSCs for a telescope? I'm not looking for a program that can drive DSCs but
that the program is standalone and uses the serial ports on the computer to
drive the scope?

Thanks,

Mike.

You know you're all washed up when you have to ask for permission to
troll. Very sad.

There is a package called Talon and it sounds pretty sophistacated.
It uses Xephem as the plaanetarium program and you can run a telescope
over the internet if you want. You can read about it at www.steidler.net
or in January's Linux Journal.

I know that Guide/Project-Pluto runs under LINUX with WINE. However I do
not use it to guide a telescope. Perhaps you can look into it. It is a
great package and is moderately priced.

So they've actually got WINE working well now?

It can be challenging to get things running, but I've got it
happening enough here that when I was using Newt to design the
Wee Truss Dob, I used it under Wine.
