Fun Little Thought
Aliens crashes into Earth with a Big Spaceship.
Wiping out the Dinosaurs. A few aliens survived the crash. Ever since then the aliens have been de-evolving into us Humans =D Two kids per man/wife is not enough for mutations ? Bye, Skybuck =D

Bye, Skybuck =D The problem with your scenario is that this event... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicxulub_crater .... seems to fit almost perfectly with the dinosaur elimination event, and it left a LOT of evidence supporting itself
