Default Politics of this newsgroup

I have seen this happen before as meaningless sour comments directed at me inevitably end up in the spectacle of an attempt to bully each other such as Illig trying to influence Alsing or indeed other members going into a immature sulk.

It is not rocket science - engineering innovators, astronomers, explorers, creative productive people through history follow the 24 hour and Lat/Long system. Theorists and celestial sphere enthusiasts follow the 24 hour and RA/Dec system.

It is absolutely crucial for the relationship of dynamics to terrestrial sciences that people travel back through the 24 hour and Lat/Long systems to the roots of timekeeping to the formatting of the 1461 day/rotations to 4 orbital circuits in order to progress astronomy and their understanding of all other historical milestones.

Let the magnification enthusiasts bite each other, there is too much to do astronomically as empirical astrophysics starts to break up due to the presence of so much imaging, time lapse and the internet itself.
