The slow cooling of the Northern hemisphere for the next 6 months is one of those wonderful areas of research that occurs as less area with the North pole at its centre experiences constant sunlight, this rate of change being reasonably smooth at habitable latitudes due to the 66 1/2 degree inclination referenced off the orbital plane, something much more productive than the traditional un-referenced 23 1/2 degree inclination.
The rate of change becomes more rapid across greater areas across latitudes the closer inclination is to the orbital plane and more benign as inclination nears 90 degree or a maximum inclination away from the orbital plane. The price of timekeeping RA/Dec modelling is awful considering what is being lost or ignored. |

The plane of understanding planetary climate in context of all planets in the solar system is so much different than the overheated mess taking its name under the umbrella of 'global warming'.
People , especially in Northern Europe, experience the astronomical underpinnings of climate via the turning of the seasons as their latitudes pass through more and more of the Earth's side facing away from the Sun and bordered by circle of illumination for the next 6 months. The 'global warming' proponents are also celestial sphere modelers in their intellectual descent into astronomical oblivion by refusing to accept the proportions of rotations to either one orbital circuit or indeed 4 orbital circuits to a close approximation. There are no 'tipping points', there is a sense that academics don't have a feel for existence and the relationship of planetary history to their own lives from past to present. |
