BBC News - Cassini probe sees plastic ingredient on Titan moon
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-24348667 "The Cassini probe has detected propene, or propylene, on Saturn's moon Titan. On Earth, this molecule, which comprises three carbon atoms and six hydrogen atoms, is a constituent of many plastics. It is the first definitive detection of the plastic ingredient on any moon or planet, other than our home world, says the US space agency (Nasa)." |

So where are the manufacturing plants that turn a simple molecule into plastic? They should be big enough to see. |

That's a thermoplastic, so NASA could send some 3D printers there and make mountains of plastic figurines and other tchotchkas before the first settlers arrive. |
