Default binoculars question

I'm considering buying the Fujinon 16x70 FMT-SX Polaris binoculars. Has
anyone got experience of owning or using them?
How does the quality of image and ease of use compare with similar-priced
binoculars?
I don't have a chance to check them before committing myself and wondered if
there were other 16x binoculars of comparable quality at around the same
price worth considering?
Thanks for any advice.
John Slevin.
