Default Le Sueur Astro Pier users: polar aligning

Hi,
I just setup an alt-az, professional grade Le Sueur Astropier. I have my
Meade standard wedge in place but I have a question for others with a
similar setup. How do you handle fine azimuth adjustments when polar
aligning? Do you just loosen the bolts that hold the mounting plate to the
pier and rotate the whole thing by hand? Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
