Funny you should ask. I was just thinking about it. Yes, I have a super
suggestion. Try a mirror mount. This is an ultra simple device which
allows you to see through your binoculars the same way a diagonal allows you
to see through your telescope. It's absolutely fantastic!

There are several on the market these days, which range in price from less
than $100 to will over $200. Take a look at my review of this item on
www.cloudynights.com When you get there, select reviews, then mounts, then
scroll down to binocular mounts, select skyscaner

You can also go to the local hardware store, buy a paint pad with long
extension handles that can be attached in sections, giving you a height
adjustment. Strap your binos to the pad, and instant monopod!

Would you be so kind to give us an observation report sometime soon?

Also at the hardware store, get a chase lounge pad. Lie down on the ground
and look up -- much beter views (thinner section of the atmosphere) than
standing up and looking out.
