ASTRO: M17
After damaging my Atik 383 camera in Namibia I imaged with my SXV-H9 plus
80mm ED refractor. As a last object in a night I usually did some "standard" stuff just for fun, among them M17. Date 2011 June 2 Object M17 Optics Vixen ED80Sf with AP CCDT67 Reducer, 399mm focal length Camera/Filter SXV-H9, Baader R:G:B Exposure 5x5m each for RGB Mount/Guiding MK100, OAG, Lodestar, AA5 Location Kiripotib Namibia http://ccd-astronomy.de/temp6/M17RGBgut.jpg Stefan |

ASTRO: M17
Standard object at that declination isn't all that "standard" from your
50N latitude! I need to try again on this one but so far any night I've tried seeing wasn't cooperating and I gave up. Nice to have it high in the sky!
