Just to make sure I'm clear on this, do all these experiments say that if there is an aether then it is stationary with respect to the local matter? No, the null results of the MMX mean the Galilean transform which satisfies the principle of relativity is not good enough to describe something that does not satisfy the principle of relativity. The subtlety is confusing the heck out of the self-styled physicists for more than 100 years. shrug |

Atlas frugged, again;
that was as close to a definitive statement, I've read form you. alleged null results of the MMX mean the Galilean transform which satisfies the principle of relativity is not good enough to describe something that does not satisfy the principle of relativity. *The subtlety is confusing more or less than nine of the physicists do you mean, the transform that satisfies the gallilean or einstein-poincare- lorentz-etc. principle? |
