hi
do I understand J2000.0 equatorial coordinate system correctly? - reference plane is equatorial plane of earth at 1 Jan 2000 12:00 TT - vernal point is position of sun at Equinox in March 2000 (i think this is roughly 20 March 07:35) so if I point Google Sky to RA 0 DEC 0 that would be the position of the sun at the March Equinox 2000 ? |
