![]() I'm working on a quasi-SkyChart program. At first, it showed a just a projection such as the Times would publish for its North Pole readers; Polaris in the middle, Orion (6h) at the right. I added a version for the South Pole readers, the Cross near the middle, Orion on the left at 6h. I now contemplate viewers facing RA 0h, 6h, 12h, 18h. Is there any sort of convention as to which way should be up on the paper? Currently I have Declination +90 at the left and -90 at the right, but that does put the Wulff chart sideways. -- (c) John Stockton, nr London, UK. Turnpike v6.05 MIME.
