Well, it does, but not nearly as much as the Earth goes around the
Sun. They both orbit the barycenter(*) of the Sun-Earth system, so
it's all kinda of relative and slightly cosmoincestuous.

(*) That's how a lot of exoplanets are detected.

Unfortunately, Medvedev and Putin are suppressing democracy in Russia,
and this ensures that the country will continue to pose a military
threat to world peace.

It's unfortunate that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the then
former aggressor nation Russia couldn't have been reorganized along
the lines of the Morgenthau Plan.

Gallup polls consistently rate 15-20% of Americans as geocentrists,
and similar numbers hold for Western Europe. So I can't say I'm
surprised about Russia.

Yeah, they could take on the Roman Empire any day of the week for
oddball beliefs and just plain superstition being a integral part of the
culture.
Here's a goody: witches, wizards, and faith healers outnumber actual
doctors in present day Russia according to a recent report.
