M81 Right image this time.
When I saved the image in JPG format for internet I'd selected an
adjustment layer and hadn't flattened the image. What got posted was only one layer of dozens I have open when processing an image. Here's the right version. 14" LX200R @ f/10, L=12x5' RGB=3x5', STL-11000XM, Paramount ME Rick -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |

Very nice. I'll definitely put that one on my list for tomorrow night,
weather permitting. George "Rick Johnson" wrote in message ster.com... When I saved the image in JPG format for internet I'd selected an adjustment layer and hadn't flattened the image. When I process an image I have a zillion layers going. Some not even
used but there if I want to go back and change something. When I save as a TIFF all are saved but when I save as a JPG only the last one I looked at is saved. In this case one I had gone back to to be sure it was turned off. My brain was off when I posted it and didn't notice until you mentioned it. I've managed to do it more than once. I get in too much of a hurry and forget JPG doesn't save the same as TIFF. I should remove layers I've turned off to save disk space and prevent this error but then I'd delete a needed layer and be even worse off.
