Hi all,
I found this discussion: http://groups.google.com/group/sci.a...00982e06dc4e0# regarding the decision of Vatican to digitize their old books in FITS format. As I'm working on a project for the long-term storage and archiviation of digital documents, I'd like to know if anybody has ever used this format for archiving digital documents, not only images. In order to see if FITS format could be used instead of a common PDF/ A. Thanks everyone, kind regards Carlo |
