Default Question saa FAQ and Solar Observing

I have been reading this group for close to a year now, but I have
been unable to locate a saa FAQ. The only FAQ's I found were for
sci.astro. Is there a separate one for saa?

Which leads me to why I would like to read the FAQ. I have some
questions on solar observing (which I have just begun -- I figure I
will double my potential observing time -- maybe?). Does anyone know
of some good web resources on amateur solar observing -- mainly how
to's and tips? Most of what I have found on the net has been research
and/or professional oriented. So far about the only resource I have
found to be helpful has been a solar observing faq by Jeff Medkeff,
with some links. Anything else would be appreciated.

btw - a belated thank you to those who responded about a month or so
ago to my request for astronomy history books -- I have a nice list
for when I have more free time in about three months or so...

Clear skies
