Just wanted to say happy to see meade has improved there customer service. I
had a problem with the 495 controller for my daughters etx 70. I called meade and after making my way threw the phone tree maze and getting dumped once i got to talk to a service rep. When told of the problem( the hand box would not display anything but you could see the LCD screen was getting power) and that I had plugged in the controller from my other daughters etx90 and that the scope work d fine . I was giving a rma to send the hand box back . Well had not made it to the post office yet when 2 days after the phone call Meade had sent UPS to my door with a new hand box and made a 5 year old very happy to have her scope back working.
