Default 20x80 Binoculars...Burgess vs. Oberwerk

Not realy, as no one around here has anything more than 10x20's, but I do have
the Oberwerk 20x80's and they are good bino's and mounted on my tripod they give
good views.

Both Burgess and Oberwerk sell a lightweight 20x80. Has anyone had
the opportunity to do a side-by-side comparison?

Likewise, my Burgess 20 x 80s are superb, on a tripod and even when
handheld.

For astro viewing I have to mount mine, with a bad elbow the holding of them is
not steady enough, for daytime viewing they are ok hand held.

I can't help it, but every time I look through binoculars it ends up
being the same ol' thing...

"I...I...just can't see anything...what's that?

I better get out the 'scope."
